The first day of Final Draw Corp.'s being open was a success. Following the opening party I proudly decided to keep the first deck of cards made. Although, one card stood out, as if it were calling out - drawing me in. It was the 9 of spades. I think I'm gonna keep this card framed on my desk.
Entry 2 - June 11th 1995After leaving work yesterday I noticed something missing, one of the employees, Lydia M, had dissapeared before clocking out. She isn't here today, and neither is my 9 of Spades. I may be overreacting but something feels off...
Entry 3 - June 12th 1995I noticed something lurking in the shadows, could it be my imagination? It created an ominous presence, yet might not have been something real. Lydia has officially been filled as a missing person, a tragedy to think what may have happened.
Entry 9 - July 4th 1995It's been a rough two weeks but I managed to get the creature locked in the company basement. I have yet to fully see it's true form, yet I know it is dangerous. I can't let anyone find out about this.
Entry 21 - June 9th 1996Tomorrow marks the aniversary of Final Draw corp. and of former employee Lydia M.'s death. The creature has been stirring more and more, building up in anticipation to something. Could this be related to the aniversary?
Entry 22 - June 10th 1996It happened again. Another employee, Harold T. The creature sought its way out and- fed on him? I'm not sure what to think about this but the sales are high.
Entry 26 - June 9th 1997It's almost that time again. All it takes is just one little employee right? That can't be too bad.
Entry 32 - June 11th 1998After the dissapearance of Evan R. the public has began to suspect something. Of course they would, why wouldn't they. I need to work to hide this better, starting by getting rid of any news of this. I have the power to do so. Another huge problem I've run into is the fact that it's random. The person eaten could be any of us... Unless I can do something to solve both problems. Make this have no relation to Final Draw Corp. If I hire a new employee, right before June 10th each year, they can be sacrificed and save the company. Not enough time will pass as them being employed to create any real ties with the company.
Entry 33 - June 30th 1998I've spent a fair bit of time thinking about this idea and I have reached a verdict. If I hire only the worst of the worst as the sacrifices, then not only do I save the company - and myself - from the creature, but I also save humanty from this person
Entry 49 - June 10th 2006This has been going smoothly for years now. I found another pesky outcast for the burn pile. The creature may have grown, but it is well contained and by now it has done a nice job of cleaning up society.
Entry 64 - June 11th 2014I don't want to admit that this may pose an issue, but yesterday the creature took an employee along with the sacrifice. It has gone through significant growth and appears to require two sacrifices to keep calm.
Entry 72 - June 9th 2015After going through this years interviews I'm left with a bit of a conundrum. None of them seem remotly bad. I have no choice. The cards must be drawn and sacrifices must be made, someone has to go - evil or not.
Entry 97 - September 26th 2017With the creation of the website we will be able to attract more bait. I have connected this public website to our private company one that holds important information, hopefully never leaking into the public side. This is much more simple and helps me keep track of the website traffic.
Entry 118 - January 21st 2026With last years revelation of the creature going wild I have come to terms with it. I will need a lot more sacrifices to hold up my side of the deal... I've updated the website and added on some help wanted adds. It's also worth tracking down the IP adresses of anyone who checks the website, free sacrifices...
